Sign Up Now!I remember there was some talk about moving him to TE but that was probably just some message board musings.Grimes to defense? Didn’t Michigan recruit him to play as a hybrid defender?
I don't think any of us except the practice insiders really know anything about Grimes other than he hasn't played through his redshirt freshman season, which isn't a huge tell one way or the other by itself.Process Grimes, keep Decoldest.
Considering it’s a deab article I’ll take those quotes with a grain of salt: I saw enough in the spring game to know he isn’t a natural pass catcher despite the quote. I agree with the quote that he isn’t really that good because the 3 bobble catches would have been drops had their been contact.I don't think any of us except the practice insiders really know anything about Grimes other than he hasn't played through his redshirt freshman season, which isn't a huge tell one way or the other by itself.
Mickey's evaluation from July:
On Kamonte Grimes
*** Joseph said he told Kamonte Grimes he needs to have more confidence and play faster. He tells Grimes to go fast and he will slow him down if necessary.
“When he does that, he’s really good,” the coach said. “But when he doesn’t play fast, he’s really not that good.”
Grimes is really talented with good hands but Joseph said they’re still working on his route running.
Deano doesn't really have anything to do with Mickey telling Greg Sharpe something.Considering it’s a deab article I’ll take those quotes with a grain of salt: I saw enough in the spring game to know he isn’t a natural pass catcher despite the quote. His correct position is on the bench. That seems to be the school where former Huskers find their correct position. Best of luck to him.
His correct position is on the bench.
Yant to Florida A&M:
They should also keep a flashing neon sign at the 2 yard line "Tripping Hazard".If they are smart Florida A&M will remove the line that indicates the 2 yard line from their field.
