Process Grimes, keep Decoldest.
I don't think any of us except the practice insiders really know anything about Grimes other than he hasn't played through his redshirt freshman season, which isn't a huge tell one way or the other by itself.

Mickey's evaluation from July:

On Kamonte Grimes

*** Joseph said he told Kamonte Grimes he needs to have more confidence and play faster. He tells Grimes to go fast and he will slow him down if necessary.

“When he does that, he’s really good,” the coach said. “But when he doesn’t play fast, he’s really not that good.”

Grimes is really talented with good hands but Joseph said they’re still working on his route running.

Considering it’s a deab article I’ll take those quotes with a grain of salt: I saw enough in the spring game to know he isn’t a natural pass catcher despite the quote. I agree with the quote that he isn’t really that good because the 3 bobble catches would have been drops had their been contact.

Deano doesn't really have anything to do with Mickey telling Greg Sharpe something.
