Yes, Bennington was 8-1 with wins over GI NW, Aurora, Elkhorn, Norris, and Blair. Lone loss was to Skutt.

Yes, Bennington was 8-1 with wins over GI NW, Aurora, Elkhorn, Norris, and Blair. Lone loss was to Skutt.

Yes, there were high hopes for a champeenship 'round these parts after Skutt was eliminated from the playoffs. The mood at Cubbies this morning was dark. People just going through the motions of buying gas, beer, lottery tickets and cigarettes. Sad.

Would have guessed in the beginning of the season between Skutt, Elkhorn, and Waverly 2 of those 3 teams would have been in the finals. Only Elkhorn left.

Also not sure if you guys noticed but Yutan is in the semi finals in a rematch of their only loss. I'd say they're playing a lot better than when they played Bergan but Bergan also dominated that game. Wasn't as close as the score and the score wasn't that close.

So naturally I'm picking a big upset and Yutan is on its way to a 2nd state championship in 4 years.
