That performance was soft af. Their worst game of the year. They were settling for shots the whole damn game. Mast was bitching that post. That was the blueprint for how to lose to a shitty team on the road.
Allick and Rice combined for 25 for F sake and we still lost by 20. The starters were terrible. We played right into what they wanted to do. Hopefully this is a way up call.

I don’t think Mast scored when Cockeye switched to zone. Offense had finally started to click and then they switched to that zone which made Nebraska start to settle and chuck from deep again.
Hopefully this is, again, a wake up call for performances away from home. Hopefully >2 days rest for Rutgers will make a difference.

I got frustrated when they were chuckin and Fred didn’t take a timeout. It must his style to let them work though it but fugggg. It was so obvious.

Both wrestling and basketball were soft and didn't show up to compete. Why did Fred continually put Bryce Williams out there? He couldn't hit anything and to make it worse he didn't guard anybody. One of the worst games, I have seen Fred coach, no adjustments and he played guys who should have sat the bench and refused to play with effort on defense.

It is damn tough to win on the road in the BIg Ten this year .. Not to mention, coming off an emotional high vs Purdue, it's not surprising that they came out flat last night.

It wasn't that bad. We just couldn't hit a 3, especially when we needed to. Cockeye also had their best 3 point shooting game of the year.

Agreed and although they played poorly and flat, it is a long season and these games like this happen. And as you said, winning on the road is tough; just ask #1 Purdue.

You have to protect your home court and everything else will work its way out. Perhaps NU can steal a game at Rutgers next.
