Breaking Nebraska announces who it is sending to B1G media days

I haven't decided if he actually hates Sims or not but he's sticking with it so far.
I have serious concerns about Sims, but I would take him in a heartbeat over whomever will be starting for Northwestern and Rutgers, for example. I am not sure Michigan State, Indiana, Illinois, and Purdue (amongst others) will have serviceable qb play.

Northwestern has the transfer QB from Cincinnatti. He's pretty damn good.

Went back & did some searching, found about a half dozen posts from insidehers listing him as a retirement possibility over the past few months. Not gonna put anyone on blast for some speculation about roster management (it wasn't posed as specific intel), but there was a good amount of noise about it.
I’ll second this. Quite a few guys were writing him off as retiring. Glad to see he’s still in it.

OT, but speaking of Lucas Oil Stadium, has there been any talk of moving the B1G championship game location after USC and UCLA join?

Piper is a guy I couldn't stand a 2+ years ago... He was awful. Worst OL in the B1G.

Last year he looked like he improved some to the point where I didn't have an aneurysm everytime he played.

Can he take that next step in being a solid guy for us? Rhule seems to believe so. He physically has a lot of the tools you want. He is pretty athletic for an OG. I just need to see it from him.
i love piper & think he can play in the league

Not that I've heard but I would like the idea of rotating between the two if not putting it in the Rose Bowl permanently. I know they wouldn't do the latter but it would be my personal preference.

Maybe alternate between Lucas Oil Stadium and Vegas.

Interesting takes as he’s probably not even starting for us this year..
I think this means he's starting. He played 525 snaps at OG in the last 11 games last year - most of any guard on the team
