Not to look ahead, but Maryland’s defense might give us some issues.

Not to look ahead, but Maryland’s defense might give us some issues.

Let's see how Maryland does this week vs Washington first before we crown them. Have we really looked at who they've played?

Towson - an FCS team that would be a pickem vs Houston Christian.

Northern Illinois- ranked dead last in scoring with only 3 offensive touchdowns in 4 games.

Florida Atlantic- dead last in turnovers. They've the thrown 10 picks already this season.

Wisconsin - 112th nationally in total offense they was forced to play with their back up QB who makes Jeff Sims look like Phil Simms.

It would be one thing if these teams just struggled vs Maryland, but they've been awful vs everyone.

Not too bad. Our talent lately is slowly closing the gap. We're still far off from playoffs but way better than what Frost left us with. Maybe we'll see some growth over the next few weeks and see some rapid production. I doubt it but still like us trending up.

I realize this is part the overall competition we’ve played and part that teams tend to run on us more given our deficiencies there…but giving up 75.8 ypg PASSING after 1/3 of the season is absurd.
Everyone was quick to dismiss Cincinnati after game 1, but Sorsby has piled up the yards the last few games, including almost 400 against KU. It wasn't that they are a bad passing team or just choose to run, they straight up couldn't throw against us
