Do you work in the Medical Solutions building next to Top Golf, or some other place where terrorists hurl golf balls at windows?

I think all of us missed the point: @Faux Sean Callahan's Pornhub session was interrupted by this alert. That is fucking annoying when it happens for any reason, even a call from your mom, wife, or girlfriend. Particularly when you've got the page in landscape mode.

I listened to a podcast a few days ago about this alert test, and the tiktok and other weirdos that were worried about the 5G zombie activation thing.

I can't decide if those people were kidding or not, but one was planning to hide out in a refrigerator box covered with three layers of aluminum foil for 36 hours to protect herself. Another planned to line a drawer in her desk with three layers of foil, shut her phone and computer off, and stashed them in the drawer for 24 hours. Why three layers instead of two or four? Ask a faraday cage expert.

I'm not sure if either were sincere, but both were encouraging others to take similar measures. I wish I would've invested in whatever company owns reynolds wrap in 2019...I'd be rich with all the foil being sold.

My coworker just told me that our other coworker made her put her phone and smartwatch in the microwave 1 hour before until 1 hour after the test so that they weren't affected by it. She went along with her just to not cause problems, but the other gal is a college educated person with a doctorate in pharmacy. I guess we all pick and choose which looneys to listen to.

I guess my take on the whole thing is if "they" were going to do something like that why would they announce it. They could send the alert anytime they wanted and whatever form they wanted for example an Amber Alert instead. ☠️
