My guesses

I don't remember what my avatar was. I think my name was RedDevil. I don't really remember.

Sam-I-Am seemed connected back then. LouisianaHusker posted a lot.
Kansas State had a dude named The Madhatter that lived on their board and was a knob. OU had a guy called yourcrimsonnightmare.
I was a RedDevil in highschool... now they're the Patriots. Thumbs down

Yea, Pius and then UNO. He was there when the program was shut down. IIRC he tried coming to Nebraska but there was some weird transfer rule that put the kabosh on that. He went to Missouri Western I think for a year and then went pro.

I had some friends that played with him that said he was always gonna go to Missouri Western because that’s where the chiefs indoor practice facility was. So he could kick all year round.

In fairness, up until recently there was a pretty high success rate with that strategy. I think it's safe to say that historically our best specialists have started as walk ons from Nebraska. Henery and Foltz (RIP) off the top of my head.

Henery was fucking filthy at the end of his career. Still blows my mind he didn't make it in the NFL.
Heard that he liked to use the platform for his kicks which is still allowed in college and not the NFL. Can't confirm if that's true or not, but I would imagine that might be why he didn't make it in the NFL.

Just one more reason Dr Tom should have opted for a dome around memorial instead of the Soccer and Tennis facilities as his farewell project.

It's still allowed in high school but it hasn't been allowed in college for a long time. He never used one in his time at Nebraska.
