Music City Bowl

If we beat Cockeye I think we will get the Music City Bowl. Not sure if we'd get it with an Cockeye loss. No idea on the who the likely opponent would be.

Gimme OU or Florida

KU honorable mention if they win Saturday, in laws are massive KU fans

Please no... I was glad when Nebraska moved to the Big Ten so I didn't have to deal with my split loyalty any longer...

Dean thinks we are going to Tampa if we win Friday
I’m starting to believe his logic
Personally I think it will be Nashville as the highest probability (bc it’s probably 40% chance at best we beat Cockeye)
I think there are 2 at the alter right now
Tampa & Nashville
Winner Friday goes to Tampa
If we lose, Nashville

Logically I don’t see who Tampa would want if not the Nebraska/Cockeye winner
Illinois is going to Orlando
Michigan appears headed to New York or CLT
They aren’t sending the west coast teams to play in Florida bc none of their fans will travel
Minnesota isn’t going to be selected by Tampa
Mich St & Rutgers below us in the pecking order
All bets off if Indiana throws a clunker vs Purdue or if Penn St would lose

Let’s say we want them, but not actually get them. They would likely boat race us if they decided to.
But would the want to? How many opt-outs would they have for a non-playoff bowl against a 6 or 7 win Nebraska team? I've been told the only reason SEC teams ever lose bowl games is because they don't want to be there.

It’s important to remember that we can jump teams 1 win above us but can’t jump teams 2 wins above us

If Illinois wins against Northwestern on Saturday and IU, PSU, OSU, Oregon all go to the playoff, Illini are headed to Citrus

Reliaquest then chooses between a massive pool of teams, including us, Michigan, Minnesota, Cockeye, Rutgers, and potentially Michigan State and Wisconsin depending on the results from this weekend.

Realistically, you have to figure the choice comes down to Michigan, Cockeye, Nebraska for Reliaquest. Michigan hasn’t played there since 2018. Cockeye since 2017. Nebraska has never played in this bowl game (formerly the Outback Bowl).

If Reliaquest chooses Michigan, you have to assume Dukes Mayo chooses Nebraska over Cockeye. That to me feels like the floor.

Reliaquest seems like the best bowl game for us

It's in Florida, so good weather

We will get to play an SEC and beat the shit out of them, maybe Oklahoma
