LSU oline was easily one of the worst last year.
Ton of issues and couldn’t run block for shit.

That said it’s a lot of issues outside of any one player. Their entire oline has entered the portal

It's a fair observation. Unfortunately, even P4 kickbacks are better than what we were working with.

Pritchett (and probably Geep to an extent) are having us shift a bit from big and powerful, to big and athletic. Raiola loved the former. Gottula may be the most athletic guy that Donnie recruited.

Watching Indiana's center snap the ball and pull around the edge to block a DB made me think back that only Pritchett was probably capable of doing that for us.

I'm not sure I label him a starter instantly, but he's the exact type of guy you go after to give yourself options for starters. It also allows you to have guys play at their more natural spots. Taumua isn't having to slide out to tackle for depth purposes, etc.Not bad options when you look at this:

LT - Pritchett - Brix OR Knaak - (redshirt Mpouma)
LG - Black OR Taumua
C - Evans - Peters
RG - Sledge OR Mubenga - Knutson
RT - Gottula OR Babalade - Knaak - Hammerbeck

That leaves you young guys like Marks and your recruits to figure out where they develop.

After further Review - I've got you at 2.5 positive posts in 2 full pages of postings. 1 for the Mubenga commit. .75 for "gettin Shiggy with it" in the commit announcement because it made me laugh although it was a neutral post. Another .75 for your very funny quip about hoping that Dean didn't nip one of his fingers that led to the late crystal ball on Whittington AFTER her committed. Funny, but neutral.

2.5 - shy of the 3. You will be met with sarcasm and cynicism to any positive post you make for a while because you've been stuck in whiny bitch mode too long to be suddenly happy with the same staff you've rained hate on.
