Nutsmasher imo is a perfect indictment of the previous staff philosophy. They wanted him to be 330+ and he just can’t carry the weight and or put on the weight incorrectly because he appeared fat last season.

You don’t become an All American wrestler and then all of a sudden don’t know how to move. I have a feeling he may regain some form this next season. Just an intuition though.

I hope so. As an idiot when it comes to scouting hs players, I can't see a box he doesn't check for a lineman. So his under the radarness confuses me. Same with the late add Barnes. Supremely athletic dude with a major program who has film good enough that Satt needed 5 plays to know he was a take, but it's like Wyoming and BYU in on him.

With Barnes I blame his coaches. They ran a pretty vanilla offense and they didn’t know how to get him or their stud TE the ball - I saw one of the catches he had on his highlight reel in person and the kid has SPEED
