I used to do it back in my 20's, and it was fun on the weekends before a hard night of bar drinking. Then I scraped about a 1/2 inch hole in my elbow and that was about it.
We used to organize bar bike rides and travel 15-20 miles on a Saturday night around Omaha....so not biking in the mountains per se. Just driving street mountain bikes from bar to bar.
I’m a rural Nebraska guy, so no mountains for me. I just started biking gravel roads. It’s enjoyable for me. I have close to 150 miles logged since March 1st.
