I would pay for book on the history of Husker message boards (this one, Mainboard, NCIU, etc.) their history, owners, crossovers, breakups that spawned new boards, the rivalries between them, who where their main insiders, history of coach confrontations, epic members, etc.

Someone who knows all this shit should write a book and sell it. I would buy it.

I really think Dean is one of the few that would be able to pull something like that, off. He has a ton of behind the scenes stuff. Just for example, I know that he was contacted by police about a few posters. Just off the wall crap, that is hilarious and a wee bit psycho at the same time.

I was on the main board during the Pelini era for a short time. I was introduced to it by my coworker at the time who was a Georgia Tech grad. I left the board shortly thereafter because I thought most of those dudes were terrible people.

My coworker talked some standard trash when GT beat FSU. The FSU fans didn't like it, found out who he was and what he did for a living and went on the attack. My coworker was a research analyst that wrote technical blogs and had an online presence with our company, its website and our social media. They made their way to the comments section and said horrible things.

I get that there are dickheads everywhere, but the mods thought it was a big joke as well and were calling him a "faggit" for complaining. I decided I wanted nothing to do with that place after that.
