More Omaha Nonsense

and you think your response would want OPS do this to freshman and sophomores?
No. I think it's smart they didn't. Just saying Skutt did do it. Plus they were playing in C-2. Which softened it a bit. My biggest surprise was that Buena Vista was going to play South. Granted they're typically not very good at football but it's still a big school.

Then opt out of varsity and run sub varsity only. They knew they weren't going to have a junior or senior class going into the scheduling.

Never even knew it existed. What class are they playing South and Ralston?
Buena Vista is a new school that opened in OPS this year, along with Omaha Westview.

Both schools are in Class A in everything except football, where they will be in Class B for the next two years. This year the two schools have only freshmen and sophomores enrolled. In BV's case, not enough kids met the NSAA's transfer deadline of May 1 to become eligible to play this fall. I believe they only have 29 kids out. They will play all JV games this year and forfeit their entire varsity schedule.

Westview must have had better turnout with its roster.

I think they got caught in the “transfer paperwork” game when admission to the school was delayed.
NSAA should have waived the transfer paperwork requirement deadline
This is the the same paperwork Gretna got popped with last yr but a different situation bc the school was just opening
