Or a gate to hell was opened.
I’d bet this is the likely answer.

In 1993, Dr. Tom went to the crossroads to sell his soul to the Devil for National Championships.

According to the legend, the curse (Simulation) could only be broken or changed if Dr. Tom passes, or a prodigal son of a Husker Hall of Famer and legend returns to lead Nebraska, specifically at the QB position.

If either were to come to fruition the gates of hell would open at the base of Tom Osborne field and the curse reclaimed.

Perhaps tonight, one of those two legendary conclusions to the curse happened.

OR, they just have the lights on for recruiting visits. You be the judge.

Me, I always lean towards the most logical answer. Occam’s Razor…it’s obviously the gates of hell have opened and the prodigal son returns.

We are BACK baby!!!

Tonight it's misty/rainy in Lincoln and with the stadium lit up for recruits it was a red glow tonight.

Sorry for shitty picture heading into downtown at 70 mph.

Mother Nature coming in the clutch. Probably looked badass inside the stadium with the ambient light.

DR gets struck by lightning.
