I took away that the royal family is messed up and they either covered up killing Princess Di or she arranged her death to get out of it.

You'd just expect better from hereditary monarchs who are the product of a nontrivial amount of inbreeding

Yeah, I was in Paris the day she died and my French in-laws said the rumor was she was pregnant with Dodi Fayed's baby. Can't have a Muslim in line to the throne. Interesting tidbit is that the last road she drove on before entering the tunnel passed a famous park called Cours La Reine which means the Way of the Queen. And yes we went to look at the Pont D'Alma tunnel the next day but it was blocked off in all directions.
