ASU fans seemed to be happy that Verge left. They were warning us on 247 but I chalked it up to sour grapes.

If you watched him play last year it was fairly clear he was a selfish chucker. All the talk about coming to Nebraska to up his pro stock and round out his game seemed totally fine before the season, but he is what he is.

Is that your twin that's helping you to color? Seems pretty clear this happens over all athletics and the players still are recruited and play. So there is no apparent issue if it's allowed to continuously occur.

I mean plenty of people say he looks like me, and considering he is my spawn it makes sense. But he's not my twin. He's a 1 and I'm 30. That just wouldn't make sense. Similarly, your logic doesn't make any sense at all. Just because something happens, doesn't mean it isn't a problem. And because it happens, doesn't mean it's 'allowed' to occur. You think Fred has any control over what his players' parents tweet, or that in some obscure way, he 'allowed' this to happen? You're silly.

In short, yes, Verge is the (biggest) problem.

That's not to say there aren't other problems. But the way he plays when the lights are on is a glaring indictment of him as a basketball player.

He's 18, 6'7, should continue to grow, and has elite athleticism and basketball abilities, plus he's a super nice kid by all accounts. I'll defer to guys like NBA talent scouts and journalists like Robin who do this for a living when evaluating whether he's a good basketball player. You should too.

He's second or third in the nation in scoring among true freshman, but don't let the stats get in the way of your subjective opinion about his talents not being shown.

He’d honestly get better development jumping to the NBA then rolling the dice on a college coaching staff. He could have Coach K or Calipari & NBA would still be better since he can spend as much time as he wants with coaches & not balancing time with classes.

You make a good point. I won’t argue that. I know it’s my opinion and his @Daddy is mad at me but the kid kinda sucks compared to all the hype he was getting.
