It doesn't sound like Sanders won the job exactly. Tennesse had a multi-year player who was 1st string at RT all spring and then entered the portal and signed with Colorado. Sanders practiced with the 2s and 3s all spring. So, it sounds more likely that the incumbent RT wanted more money (likely based on a CU offer) that Tennessee wouldn't pay because they had Sanders behind him and he was already making quite a bit. They said he was learning fast but was an unfinished product. He has needed to put on weight - he added 20 pounds since January and still need to put on about ten more before the season.David Sanders won the RT spot at Tennessee this spring I’m pretty sure,
Surprised if they are able to hold on to him. The 2026 class is going to need a big boost in June. The staff has done a good job of getting top talent to visit but now they need to start closing. I don't know what is allowed but it would be good if they can get Trae Taylor in for those June weekends.Doesn’t seem like really committed
Actually getting a little coverage on the On3 accounts today.
It’s fair to think that if he were going to stay committed then there would be no need to make a decision in July. I don’t think he’ll end up here, but it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve said that and been wrong.Doesn’t seem like really committed
Shit. I thought Barthel was white
