I read just fine with all my fancy book learnin. I don't think he's shitty, but if we're going to pay top dollar as the rumors would suggest I would prefer someone like Aranda, Urban or Wittingham. No reason to be so salty.

The appeal should be literally anything right now and Campbell is the A+ Hire for what is feasible right now.
If we are offering top dollar . Time will tell. I would take my shot with urb and offer him 10 million and work down the list if and when he says no. Maybe there is no chance at him but you don’t know if you don’t try. I also don’t see Aranda as an elite head coach either at this point. The sample size is too small.

That's pretty much my line of thinking. Start at the top and work your way down. If we strike out on our top candidates then I could see Campbell being a more viable option, but I just have others I'd prefer over him first.

You never know until you try, but I tend to agree that we're not going to get a top candidate unless we pay up.
I dunno. A coordinator at a P5 school. A head coach in the Big 12. A head coach at a G5. Bumping up a person's salary an extra digit is significant.
