There was 7 of us, 3 marrieds and ... me. Three of them had b-days in the last week.

I went to HS there, and two of the marrieds just bought a house there at the end of JAN '21, as they like to drink wine, and well, because LA is a shithole.

I wanted to see their place and we drink for free at tastings because they are all members of the clubs. It was a good weekend.

Lol, how is it being the one single dude with three married couples? I married early enough (28) that I never was around for the times when I was the odd man out with a bunch of old losers.

Once, in Solvang back in the 1980s I went to a big dinner at a summer job co-workers house.

There was 17 people.

They're pretty damn good. Unfortunately, because I live in Virginia, they only sell wine, beer, and cigars. In states without state-administered monopolies for the hard stuff, they also stock brandy and shit like that.

Nope, literally only at the Virginia ABC shops. They're all over, and occasional stores have some nice stuff, but it's not ideal.
