I saw henrich at a grocery store in Omaha this summer and was shocked at how small he was. Truly, he looked like a regular person. Short and not even built. And that’s a big ten linebacker lmao

LB’s weren’t the issue besides some poor tackling. D-Line couldn’t keep the OL off of them, which is their main job.

Casey is taking too much flack. He missed about 2-3 throws, the rest were pathetic drops by shitty WRs. He missed a long ball to Trey that was bad and an out to ICG that would have been a first down.

Other than that, Oliver martins dumbfuckin ass (lol at people whoever thought he was good) caused the first interception and second int why the fuck is liewer even playing.

Casey missed a couple, but largely played well enough to win the game.

Yea you would have thought the offense played good enough to win, but little did we know our defense would be complete garbage. If the line progresses some and can protect CT the offense might look decent this season, but it won’t matter with the defense we have unless they somehow magically get way better. The defense looks like it’s more of the same excluding last year when Chinander had a lot of 5-6 year seniors.

I think you can say the same for the whole defense. From the line to secondary they all looked lost and step slow which means they were thinking too much.

I know Northwestern’s strength was their run game but I didn’t expect them to own us that bad. I thought we would be more exposed up front when we played teams like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Cockeye. I also thought we would be able to present some type of pass rush, but it was all around horrible from every position group.

Yup. Even with all the pieces we had last year, we couldn't force turnovers or get to the QB. It just felt like anytime an opponent needed a drive to ice the game they were able to do so.
