I think fsu only punted once all game. Even with the -1 in TO margin they should have easily won - but they didn’t bc their defense blows. TW struggles with adjustments - if his game plan gets exposed early there isn’t much he can do

Also he faced a lot of bad offenses in 2022 and 2023.

I'm not sure how many good offenses he actually beat in those 2 yrs. Maybe CU 2024? I wouldn't even call their offense good - bc they couldn't rush the ball (TW kryptonite) and didn't do RPO (TW's other kryptonite)

Who else was a "good" offense that we actually got a W against in those 2 yrs?

Tony White was an extremely good DC for Nebraska in 2023-24 and we would be lucky to have him instead of him lateral moving elsewhere. Let’s not try to diminish how good he was here and act like we wouldn’t want him to have stayed.

That said he left us so I’ll laugh anytime he has an embarrassing performance.

I really haven’t seen anything from him that suggests he’d be doing a better job with our current personnel than Butler.

Do Gbayor, Princewell, Butler & James Williams make this team better at all? I’d probably take Princewell back but the rest were never more than mediocre.

The 3 players we really miss from our front 7 last year are all in the NFL.

No. I think it was Benning who said Jamiri came to Rhule about a bigger deal he got at LSU and Rhule told him to go get paid. They could’ve kept him.

I believe I read somewhere that last year’s defensive staff hated Princewell. Not sure if it was effort or what. His brother was a big money transfer to Ole Miss a couple of years ago so Ole Miss made sense. He had the most potential out of the whole group and time left.

Yeah and I’d much rather give the younger guys playing time this year than bring all those dudes back who did nothing but lose for there entire time here

It was basically assumed the entire season last year that Princewill was transferring at the end of the year. Had nothing to do with TW leaving.
