38 New additions...incredible.

At Least 45% of our scholarship players will be brand new in year 0. That's a roster flip.
I' love to see a list, but I also think we'll be going from two sub-11 sec 100M guys (Palmer & Victor Jones - Hill was 11.12) to 6-8

Did we even have anybody in the defensive backfield that would be considered to have "Track Speed"? It was often mentioned that Tommy Hill was one of the best athletes on the roster but not sure if that meant he had top end speed. I believe that Rahmir Johnson ran below 11 in the 100m. I really can't think of many "Track Speed" players besides Johnson & Palmer on last seasons roster. It will be great to see so many players capable of taking the Top Off of defenses. Speed Kills.

This never seems to work though.
Agree.
And taking a guy from there that never cracks the two-deep doesn't exactly get a pipelined primed. Taking a marginal prospect to "get into a powerhouse school" does not pay off.

It hasn't worked for us in the past, but we haven't had anybody serious about recruiting since Callahan.
