KU and B1G

as much as it pains me to type this I kinda wish Mizzou was still in our conference. Easy road trip plus would really help with recruiting in Missouri. They have a good gig in the $EC so doubt they even consider leaving. If we were to add KU or any of the other close by Big12 schools at least we wouldn't feel so much like an outlier geographically. We only share a border with Cockeye. KU fans are not wanting to join the PAC12, and I can't blame them. Texas really doing their best to crash another conference.

Missouri was a major factor in why Nebraska started scrambling to find a landing spot.

It’s one thing for UT to say “we might go independent or to the pac12 shit man idk”

It’s a totally different thing for Missouri to basically have a press release saying “this is why we left for the Big 10”

way closer to home and a much better comparison for Nebraska to understand “oh shit we gotta find a soft landing spot”

I think Missouri as a University (not necessarily the State) is waaaaay more like the B1G than it is SEC and based on what their university President and board was saying publicly MU feels the same way.

I don’t think they would leave the SEC but I’d bet my life if they could get a genie wish and have the Big 10 add Missouri in 2010 they would take that over future SEC membership. Now there is too much water under the bridge to go back, school administrators do not give a fuck if football goes 0-12 or the rest of the division is on the other side of the country as long as the money is amazing. Same with Nebraska. Same with every school that has moved. “Oh this is your rival for 110 years in that sports ball game? Who cares.”

Sad. Me no likey

They say if you listen closely when the winds around Stillwater are blowing just right, you can hear the ghost of T. Boone Pickens weeping...

I am surprised he didn't leave more money for Oklahoma State's endowment

I just looked and they and KSU are the only 2 original Big 12 schools that have endowment's below $1 Billion.

Nebraska = $1.7 Billion

Okie Lite = $750 Million

KSU = $500 Million

poor people shit
