Kirk Ferentz also has the most Big Ten losses, and that’s an accolade, not a stain
I’m confused by this post because it’s not like Kirk is viewed as being some legend. He’s pretty accurately viewed as a mediocre head coach who coached for a long time imo

Oh there wasn't a mention of BTN in the thread so I didn't know. It's kind of the BTN's job to jack him off about it but it is still pretty gay i guess.
Not really sure what's going on in your gif, but yes I did a lot of humping in my college days.
He’s lucky Frost was let go, or that record would be in jeopardy.
Coming into this season, Ferretz has an amazing 88 conference losses to his credit. If NU would have let Frost continue at his average loss clip of 6.25 per season, he’d overtake Ferretz by 2034.
By then, the sellout streak would have been over for 9 years, the losing season and bowl less streak would have been extended to 15 years, I’d likely be on a liver transplant list.

He’s averaging a conference record of roughly of 5-3 (9 game conference slate only started in ’17) in his 25 years, which should be considered good for Cockeye. He values defense and special teams, which I get and agree with, but to average an 8-3 record for 25 years winning the way he does is….awful. I’m sure a handful of Husker fans would have traded our last decade of history for theirs to be sure, but I’m not on that list. Winning football games is the goal, but Sweet Baby Jesus are they shit to watch.
Dude is 70, but seems to be in good shape and in relatively good health. HIs last losing season was 2012, so they’ll likely let him coach until he doesn’t want to or has another losing season.
Ferentz' longevity is mainly due to the fact that he's at Cockeye. Cockeye is forgiving of football that is the same year over year in style and does not reach the next level as a national contender. His record and bland football would have had him fired at every blue blood and most others in the top 15-20. Other coaches would never get the time to amass a record like that.
I'll give him credit for consistency and good special teams/defense and player development. However, he's taken advantage of bad programs (including Nebraska) in the middle to bottom range of the Big10. Even Bo Pelini was 3-1 vs Kirk.

While I definitely agree that there’s something wrong with people from Cockeye, and most of there fans are gay. I’ve always thought the rivalry’s forced, never felt like a real rivalry to me. I didn’t grow up hating Cockeye, I grew up hating Texas, Colorado, and somewhat OU. We joined the Big 10 and they said “you guys are close, here’s your rivalry.” Shit, I don’t like Wisconsin more than I don’t like Cockeye.
