Kanye West

I feel bad that he's mentally ill and that we have people that are entertained by his delusional musings. He has enablers that DGAF about his mental state and platforms that seek to amplify it.
Yep--this shit has been going on for 4+ years. It's pretty gross that people are willing to amplify mental illness for clicks. At this point you can't feign the whole "we didn't know he would say that!" shit. People know they'll get max social media interaction and shine.

Kanye is fascinating, and if you watch his long form interviews (say on Tucker), you can clearly tell he's lucid.

I share Jason Whitlock's opinion - Kanye is in a battle with fame... sometimes he's right on the money, sometimes he backslides, and there are a lot of people in his life trying to take advantage of him. But I appreciate that he's a freethinker & challenges the Current Thing narrative.

I don't feel bad for him, per se, but the vast majority of the time, he's more on the money than X large corporation's PR department.
Tucker also left the most batshit stuff on the cutting room floor.

If anyone has watched the 3 part documentary about him on Netflix, it's pretty striking to see how much this guy has degenerated. That director also admitted he left stuff on the cutting room floor because he felt bad showing his friend battling mental illness.

Talking like this is probably the best thing he could've done for his political aspirations though

Never understood the antisemitism thing - at all. My thought is the ideology lingers from WW2.

I IDGAF much who someone is, or where they came from. Although I can't say I'd be super comfortable in many parts of the world. Middle East perhaps??

But antisemitism in this country (within the US borders) is both fascinating and confusing to me personally.

Absolutely insane. Deserves worse than what he's getting. Adidas is tanking their stock to maintain a relationship. At this rate, they may not have enough cash to pay their college apparel endorsements.

Edit: In a new development, Ye was dropped by Adidas.
What is ye and what did the retarded rapper do? Besides pretending to look angry all the time but instead looking like a black tadpole.

That's a weird thing to love.

Anywho, I'm not one of those dudes who reflexively calls any kind of criticism bigotry - especially when the core points are never engaged. Just comes off sounding like Uncle Leo from Seinfeld.
Didn’t realize threatening a religious group is just good ol’ fashioned “criticism.” This thread is enlightening. Thanks for the education.

So...I believe there's no one that is as much of a genius as he is that has simultaneously squandered so many opportunities to regain a platform.

Also. Voting for him 2024.

Ok what is “defcon 3 on Jews”
You take this as Kanye saying he's about to load up his crew & do a drive-by on a synagogue? Is that how you arrive at "threatening"?

I've heard dozens of people say they're "going defcon..." on any number of subjects, and it has always meant harsh speech.

All I said was that it’s threatening.
