Came here to say Q39. Do it, you won't regret it.Jack's Stack is good, but if you're a BBQ snob, I would recommend Q39 instead. There's a pretty cool place called Strang Hall, which is a Chef's Collective. Think of it as an upscale food court where you can order from 5-6 different places from your phone (they also have a full bar for you Jim). If you find yourself looking for some good baked goods in the morning, stop by Tous Les Jours. It's in Korean Town and who knew that Koreans could make such good pastries, but man, their stuff is off the charts, especially their caramel apple turnover.
Is that the chain Johnnys or a local? If it was a Husker game day I’d tell you to go to Johnnys Steakhouse in Olathe cuz I know they would have at least 1 TV with the Nebraska game.
It's better than soccer at least. That was his favorite sport.Tell anybody west of Topeka that you’re going to a Lacrosse Tournament in Johnson County KS =
I bet you hire a plumber too. Disgusting privilegeIt's better than soccer at least. That was his favorite sport.

Jack Stack in the plaza then Granfalloon for libations. @BIG TONE SOPRANO and I saw the biggest set of tits I've ever seen on the hoof there one year. Would recommend.I whole-heartedly endorse Jack Stack. We go there just about every time we go to KC because a friend of ours manages one. So I may be biased, but I've never left there unsatisfied.

Doesn’t it just take carefully prepped meat and BBQ sauce? I don’t get the hype of people thinking some region is better at “BBQing”.Is BBQ in KC really that good it is it overrated
Region doesn't really matter. Just more likely to find places that are good at making certain kinds of food. For example, Texas has more quality authentic Mexican food than Nebraska because the demand for authentic Mexican is higher there.Doesn’t it just take carefully prepped meat and BBQ sauce? I don’t get the hype of people thinking some region is better at “BBQing”.
