We had a fairly large snowstorm here in Denver so I took some stops off one of my drivers today. I got to this one house with a bunch of lifted trucks in the driveway and knock on the door - after the door is opened, behind a wall of marijuana smoke stood the largest, most tatted person I’d ever seen. I immediately recognized him, but I couldn’t believe how fuckin massive he was. Obviously I knew he was tall being in the NBA, but I don’t think you really realize how huge these guys are until you’re standing next to them.

I also had someone chase me down and say “aren’t you that Tiktok guy!?!” and ask me for a picture. So it’s been an eventful day.

If you start handing out prime rib recipes I'm going to start asking some tough questions.

Worked security back in the day including a wrasslin match and Andre the Giant was on the card. My gawd was he an enormous human being. Mind bottling. And Big John Stud was there at 6-9 and he looked tiny compared to him. All of the wrestlers looked tiny compared to Andre.

When I lived in Denver we use to see Birdman every time we went to the strip joint Shotgun Willey's. He must have banged every stripper in the place, twice. Cool dude and easy to talk with.

He failed a drug test before he even got on campus so he couldn't train with the team for a year until his suspension was up, so he used the rec center with us regular students. even being used to seeing the football players around campus, he was shockingly large. he was listed at 6'10", 350 lbs

I've met Yao Ming. And agree, he makes even Shaq look small. I do agree that he is taller than he was listed. That was oft talked about when Yao played in the NBA - that he was bigger than his listed height.

I think he has health issues from his size these days. I think he is actually a really great guy from what I have read and know about him. And one humongous human being. Having been used to 6'-3 and bigger O Lineman at NU, one got used to very large humans. But Yao Ming is a true giant. Shaq is a giant and looks 8" shorter than Yao. Look at the size of Yao's head compared to Shaq's - and Shaq does not have a small head.
