Corcoran will be fine. The kid had ONE total start under his belt going into 2021 and played most of last season at roughly 75%. Seriously wouldn't be surprised if half way thru the season, he's being considered for All-Big Ten.
2020 was a terrible season for an offensive linemen to come in as a True Freshman. Off season lifting and conditioning was gone. For Corcoran, his 2021 season was basically year one, and he's a better fit for guard anyway. The kid literally just 21 years old last week.
As for Benhart, he allowed 8 sacks in the first 5 games of the season. He allowed 1 the final 7. I'm not saying he's going to continue to produce at that level, but I heard he turned the benching into a positive and really focused on improvement instead of sulking.
