Breaking John Butler DC

JoBu

I’m assuming they’re not taking guys that they don’t think can play, but could be wrong
Ha. I meant that I think they think he has a more immediate route to playing than a guy they're expecting to get on the field 2-3 years down the road.

Hoping he's able to fix our open field tackling. It's been bad for too long, and his NFL background should be bring an improvement.
It was good last year. This year not so much. And in the bowl game one of the worst of the year. I was curious to see if PFF saw it the way my memory banks had it. Below are the game by games, but they also had us 15th nationally on tackling, 10th in P5. 43rd nationally this year and 26th in P5 out of 69.

How fuckin' nasty is our defense gonna be next year with JoBu in charge and guys like Shavers running around?

I think our defense will be improved. We all thought it would be this year, and I don't think it was. We shouldn't believe it will be next year, therefore it will be. Trading out long term development dudes with younger guys with higher ceilings.

I think we can form a good defense with these dudes

Nwaneri
Shavers

C. Wright
