Breaking JoBu Out

I doubt if it’s another $10M but maybe I’m wrong
I don't think it is. Rhule's assistant pool, which is more than 10 assistants now and as of February is up close to $9 million. Wouldn't shock me to see them in the $12 million range all in, but yeah it ain't $17 million.

I was hoping Campbell stayed put, but the dude cleaned up being the last good option left

At a certain point wtf do all these support staff people do? I am not sure what other staff NU would want or need for foosball.
The rules on what a staff member who is not an AC or Coordinator can do during normal practices has changed dramatically. So now you have a situation where someone who was previously not able to directly coach during practices, can do that. Essentially most teams now doubled the staff they have coaching, and it looks more like the NFL in that regard. These staff members however can't coach during games however.

This has a great impact on younger players who are still developing, they are now getting a lot more coaching.

You have analysts that are self scouting (quality control). Analysts that are future scouting.

You have guys that are in charge of high school scouting and recruiting. Guys that are in charge of college scouting and recruiting.

Then you have guys that are there to help with the every day lives of players. Essentially guys that are recruiting your own players.

And then you have the equipment guys, film guys, graphics guys, social media guys, nutritionists, therapists (mental and physical), trainers, the s&c guys.

Oh and then you have your actual coaches.

Yes. Is spending $17mm on that overkill or what?
