I know stats aren't everything, but....
Total offense: 79th in the country
Total defense: 23rd in the country
We've been a lot closer to playing elite defense in the last 3 years than even offense. We've changed coordinators, spent a lot on a 5-star QB, brought in a lot of receivers from the portal...and the results have been pathetic. Forget Ohio St and Oregon...if we're going to compete with the Cockeye's and Minnesota's of the world, we need better offense...that can create explosive plays and score TDs in the red zone.
