I honestly don't know this... Do you have to be certified or licensed or something to represent college athletes as a sports agent? I believe you do in the nfl, mlb, nba, no?
We should sign this guy. The athleticism just jumps off the page from this pic.

Probably technically, but plenty of “uncles” serving as agents too is my guess

Agreed. He still does some pre and post game work occasionally, but knowing a bit about broadcasting, that gig probably pays dick.
Why don't his clients feature the who is who of edge rushers and nose tackles in CFB?

This is not an indictment on Sirles, or the players for that matter, but there became a need instantaneously on July 1st, 2021 where there was literally zero people with experience doing something. It created a massive flood to the market of people trying to capitalize on it, when no experience was needed due to no experience being had. This wasn't like the NFL that had decades long of negotiations and contracts, NCAA and teams were trying to figure this out on the fly. In a sense, the lack of guardrails made things more difficult in some areas, but it made it so Uncle Dan can represent his nephew and all of a sudden get paid too. You have sleezy people like Coach Cavazos "helping" these kids because they can say "I was a college football coach at one point I can get you max value."
I still remember being next to 1890 when Walter Rouse's agent was negotiating back and forth with us and Oklahoma. "Ok now Oklahoma is at ____." It created some unbelievable side gigs, because they were needed due to not being able to "tamper" with players and getting ahold of them directly.
