Wonder if our new DL coach wants him. Hoping Aurich gave the green light on this lol

-Aggressive defensive lineman that can penetrate with his power and surge.
-Impressive looking off the hoof with a muscular and streamlined 6-foot-3, 260-pound build that’s equipped with rather promising features (33.5-inch arms, 11-inch hands).
-Quick to disengage with well-timed strikes.
-Likes to find a wide base in the middle and has the lower-body strength to shade up and make opponents work.
-Needs to keep improving range, but can find some late closing burst and testing profile is encouraging (111.5-inch broad jump).
-Flashed as a junior for one America’s top high school defenses and should bring alignment possibilities to his next stop as he can fit into an even or odd front.

Based on his penetrating ability im not surprised Michigan was in it til the end
Since Rhule arrived the staff has made it a focus in recruiting, to have a strong footprint in the Northern Atlantic Coast states. Maryland has had numerous highly ranked recruits recently, and Nebraska has been in the loop, but not in the winner's circle, with several. This plays somewhat well in that while Jayden isn't a top tier recruit (high 4* or 5*) he is a high 3* (.8800) DL (same range as RVP or Keona Davis).

He probably needs about 30 additional pounds to play in the B1G so it will be of interest to see what he looks like come next January after signing. Probability is that he would not be a full time contributor until his second year at NU.
