Frost played them too early and with Rhule he doesn’t play them at all. Going into year 4 and I don’t think a HS recruit OL has really even seen the field during important downs for Rhule & it doesn’t look like he plans on doing it much next year either.

The HS recruits can't play until they are on the team.


Seriously though Gottula played a lot. Some of the others played a bit their freshman year in prior years. This year is really only year freshman didn't play.

I wasn’t considering Gottula because he committed 18 months before we hired Rhule but I guess that makes 1.

I’m saying none of them have gotten meaningful snaps even as a sophomore or Junior. He just lives in the portal for O line. Hasn’t developed a single kid he recruited into a Big 10 O lineman.

Arguement is they didn’t develop Teddy and Corcoran but idk I didn’t really read it.

I don’t think anyone deserves criticism for Teddy. Not sure what you could do with him.

Corc is a tricky situation as well. He probably would have looked way better as a guard. I guess the criticism there was that we didn’t have any better options than to trot him out there as a tackle.

Yeah, going into there 2nd and 3rd year in the program and with our portal adds, it’s obvious our staff doesn’t think they are good enough to play next year.
