Second fucking year in a row on the colorado game. She’s from Chicago, family has had season tickets to the Bears for 50+ years and she doesn’t get why football is a big deal. She’ll learn.

Side note— We went to a September wedding a few years ago and she was shocked that everyone was watching the game and not dancing.

I like how wives freak out at the "drop everything for Husker football" when in reality it's only 12 days out of the 365 day calendar. Asking for 12 days out of 365 really should not be too much to ask. Tell your wife, "you're lucky I'm not an MLB fan, that would be 162 days out of the year - I'm only asking for 12 (or starting this year, 16 due to our natty)." If anything, your wife got off easy.

English Premier League is 38 games plus 10 for Champions League. NBA 82 games. You're just asking for 12 days (16 now). Not too much to ask.

They should be grateful that we chose Husker football...we sacrifice to maximize the days we can spend on their needs. I think we deserve a "thank you"....and a beer

UTEP was my favorite 1 star school to build into a dynasty in old school EA Sports NCAA Football. Texas location let me snag some state recruits because the video game let me pitch El Paso's location as part of the region, instead of being 500 miles away from everything like in real life.
