Brother had some private ground to hunt with his kid around Grand Island this weekend. An invasive insect was found and the state burned it to the ground on Monday. He's scrambling to find somewhere public now. Feel bad for the guy.

That would be his luck. That's awful timing.
 
That is exactly what I’ve switched to!
I just went the other direction. I shot slick tricks for years and my issue with them is that the blood trails are weak compared to expandables. I shot a buck last night with a Rage no collar and while I did hit a rib on exit, the blood trail was solid. I've never had a slick trick blood trail that compared.

Yes, the new Rage are solid. It’s the old ones with the pear shaped blade at the tip that suck
