He seems to me like he has the ability to be a #1 WR but imho he is very soft in battling for 50/50 balls and does not go above and beyond in his effort to finish routes and fight for the football. While The receiver group is improved from last season (bigger bodies is great) we are still nowhere close to where we need to be to compete for a playoff spot. But Neyor has annoyed me on multiple plays, including the deep shot Dylan took to him where it may have been overthrown, but Neyor stopped running, ball falls incomplete.

I iust feel like maybe he aint got that hawg in him.

just drunk and being critical. gbr

Hes got all the skills, but is a lazy route runner and doesn't properly use his body to fight for the ball. When he turns it on (see circus catch vs Illinois for a TD) he's excellent. But you get more plays like the one you described from him than anything.

Banks being a top notch possession guy and Barney emerging is more important to that room than Neyor right now.

IMO, Barney is our second best offensive player after Dylan.

I think Neyors good but I think there’s a caliber of WR that we just don’t have yet.

That 5*, just throw it out to them and they’ll figure it out and make a play, guy.

Barney has that attitude, he’s just small and more of a Percy Harvin style.

I think so too. I'm hoping he adds some good weight because he takes hard hits, but he's got a big future.
This guy would’ve wanted Devonta Smith to bulk up.

Weight has nothing to do with him taking big hits, he slows up into contact and leaves his body in vulnerable positions.

Good call, use a generational college player as your example.

If you don't know the benefits of increased muscle mass on injury prevention, I'm not going to take the time to explain it to you. Just know it is possible to add mass without sacrificing talent if done right and it would do most small players well to do so.

And when did Barney get hurt? His best ability is his agility and speed, which are inversely affected by adding weight.

Who said he got hurt? Prevention was a pretty key word there. Are you just arguing for the sake of arguing?
I’m showing how idiotic you are for wanting to put weight on the guy. Fans are obsessed with putting weight on players when it’s typically detrimental to their playing ability.

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Arguing with you will obviously get nowhere. But take some time to think about how many 150 lb guys last in college ball.

And if you think hes actually the 170 they listed him at, your idiotic comment gets much more ironic.
