I always defend our coaches for waaaaay too long when they should be fired. So THIS TIME I'm jumping on the firing bandwagon early so I don't have to drink so much piss later.

I don't know how fucked everything is in this specific situation, but I've been operating from a pretty detached/bemused standpoint since the mid-Frost era, when it finally became totally clear that there was something wrong with the NU football program that goes beyond human comprehension. It doesn't matter who the coach is, who the assistants are, who the players are, who the administrators are, what the fans do, what other teams do, etc. Something psychological/mystical is going on at NU to every person who gets involved with the football program, and it's been that way for two decades now. So all I can do is watch in awe at all the new ways we can faceplant, year after year, coach after coach, players after players, yada yada yada.
