In Rome this week

Italy in general is awesome. Had the pleasure of going once for about 2 weeks. Would definitely go back. One thing about Rome...traffic laws do not apply.
I went about 18 years ago and was standing on a corner waiting to cross and a motorcyclist passed close to me and caught the sleave of my shirt. Those fuckers make our crazy drivers look like amateurs. I don't think I saw a car without a dent or scratch.

I love Italy and in my last few visits have gotten out of the city and up north into the Swiss/Italian Alps. Beautiful and serene country that I've done some hiking/biking trips through.

Always wanted to visit Italy and after visiting Rome and Tuscany, wife is definitely convinced we’re moving to Tuscany when we retire, Montepulciano more specifically. Food, people, all of it. Absolutely incredible. Planning a summer trip to Sicily (probably Palermo) and possibly Amalfi Coastal area. Moving to the Netherlands for a few years in May so the reality of this travel is pretty awesome.View attachment 20684View attachment 20685View attachment 20686View attachment 20687
