If you're Scott Frost, how do you save your job?

To me same as before go 6-6 7-5 & make a bowl . Beat Cockeye or WI … it’s not impossible at all but could be an uphill battle

2. You can't do anything illegal
kramer im out GIF

It's still the same standard as it was before Saturday - win minimum of 6 and make a bowl. However, it's a hell of a lot harder now. I see 5 games that they should win (should in the same way we should have beat Illinois). That means they're gonna need an upset against some top teams.

What teams are they? I'm thinking Fordham, Buffalo, Purdue, maybe Northwestern.

Struggling with Illinois DL isn't a good sign of things to come vs. MSU. Minnesota, Wisconsin, Cockeye all look like games we will not be favored in as of today.

The 4 you listed plus MSU. But I agree, the line struggles could change that one very easily.

This is still the truth

Hard schedule and yesterday just makes the win total of 6 harder to get to

I mean the hardest team Pelini ever played in week 1 was a MAC or Sun Belt school (not hyperbole)

That really can be said for most P5 schools usually. You'll have a couple schools start the season with a marquee match up, but 90 percent of em like to start with a tune up game. Illinois is honestly the hardest scheduled game, sans covid, that I can remember in a while.

He literally said today, essentially, that he either didn't know to or didn't want to make adjustments because of how Illinois lined up....so he threw out half the game plan.....it's fuckin over. Holy shit that's a bad comment.
He couldn’t even adjust to a different front. It’s laughable at this point.

BYU was tougher in Riley’s first year.

I mean, if half your playbook is against 3 man front, and the other half is against 4 man fronts, don't both fronts essentially eliminate half your game plan?

Thought about that. Actually thought for a while that it’s probably not a horrible statement and It just sounds bad so it’s been spun that way, but sounded bad in the moment. Idk. The last 48 hours just haven’t been great for that man

Even Bush Jr’s playbook accounted for most defensive fronts. Run right, run left, air it out, run up the middle.

Horrible horrible sound bite but really not that unrealistic in the grand scheme of things. He's done a very poor job of conveying his thoughts since Saturday.

Just quit sounding dumb lol

Just quit sounding dumb lol

Just can't stop tripping over his own dick.

One thing that does kind of bother me about that though is since he's been here, he's gotten a lot of heat for coach-speak. He'll be pretty generic and vague with a lot of what he says and folks will rip him for that. And now he's being candid (and sounding dumb) about something that happened during the game and he's also getting ripped for that. It probably bothers me more than it should but whatever. Lol
