Just a few more things to bitch about at Arrowhead.

I missed the HuskerVision stats. I want to see the yardage totals and completion percentage and things like that. None of that in Arrowhead on their tiny oval scoreboards.

The complete lack of internet connection meant I couldn't check the roster on the Huskers app. And I needed it. A bad thing about the single digit "tradition" is that it causes a reshuffle of uniform numbers right before the season. A couple of weeks ago, Ceyer Wright was No. 15. Now he's No. 1. But then who is the No. 15 out there on defense? It took us a while to figure out it was my Scottish brethern McCullough. There were a handful of other players whose numbers are not committed to memory, including some of the single digit guys, who we had to debate about because we couldn't check a roster.

I was telling people about the stats as well. Blew my mind the lack of game info out there. Only a couple spots to even get score. I haven’t been to any chiefs games to know if that’s normal or not.

The other thing that was eye opening is the lack of entertainment during game breaks or even between plays. The media timeouts were dead with nothing going on. The PA announcer was awful. I’m a big critic of the lack of change we’ve had over the last 10+ years at Memorial but I think we are spoiled if that’s how normal games are.

The main scoreboards didn’t even show the time or down and distance. We had to look at the banner screens on the opposite sideline and it was tough to read with the stupid red and white font they had.

I noticed the strip screens around the stadium were mainly just Battle branded. I’m wondering if that was part of their sponsorship
