If we only have enough NIL money to keep one QB, who are you picking?

If NIL/money was the factor in losing one of our two QBs then we aren't a serious program.

As others have stated, you don't lose a backup QB because of money, you lose him because of playing time.

Big time programs lose #2 QBs ALL THE TIME. Penn St just lost Beau Pribula to Missouri for example. Not about money, he wanted to start.

Not only did they lose him, they lost him in the middle of their playoff run when they actually used him some.

Maybe... the reality is if we offer him 500k to stick around as the backup and someone offers him 500k to come start right now, I don't think that's a reflection of if we are a serious program or not.

We need to get TJ out of here because he risks us losing Trae who doesn’t want to have to wait around the extra year TJ would have. And the unknowns of a HS kid are more exciting than the unknowns of a freshman who’s played one game against a bad defense.

Take it all the way Bor... what if all of a sudden Lateef gets us 2 wins in our last 3 regular season games, wins our bowl game, and we get to 9 wins. He makes an average at best OL all of a sudden look more than serviceable... that's tough for the coaches to ignore. Little premature here but whatever.
