Yes, Dylan tends hold the ball too long and doesn’t throw it away. He needs to get better in that regard. But holy deer lawd baby Jesus WTF was going on out there today? They had one series in the 3rd quarter where they gave up 2 sacks then a false start on 3rd down. I was so mad that I don’t even remember what happened on 3rd down. I know we didn’t get shit for yards and punted, but I honestly can’t remember what the play was. Man that was maybe the worst series I’ve ever seen from an oline perspective.

These guys have to get better or they’re gonna get DR killed. Uncle Donnie fix’n to get his ass kicked by Dom if his piss poor unit gets his son injured. I would never consider myself an oline expert so I don’t know what needs to be done, but them boys were really really bad today.

Definitely the o line needs a lot of things.

Whether it’s blitzing from the edge, twists, stunts or just a straight up edge from DL or OLBs our OTs are getting worked. Frankly J think we gave up some pressures/sacks on the interior pass rush too today. (need to rewatch the game) We had been pretty good on the interior, but today the whole thing was shit. 😞

Nice work in trying to isolate a large group of smelly vaginas into one thread. I applaud your efforts to bring the sandy stank together to both enjoy the misery as one and yell at the clouds!

Loud noises!!!!

Feel like we have seen enough of what Donnie can’t do and he needs to go. There are few times where I think we need to have a series or few plays to see whatTJ Lateff can do with his legs if it comes to it. Im a big DR fan by the way, but he is easy to key in on because you know he isn’t gonna run or be very elusive.

Strength and conditioning needs a look, too. Both lines are lacking strength and they seem to get slower the longer they are in the program

Rhule has a clear preference toward dual threat QBs and I do think long term that will take some pressure off of the OL. We’re sort of stuck with what we have for the near future unfortunately.

Donovan has had 4 years and his OL is still shit. It's obvious were keeping him on to keep Dylan. Of course Dylan can never fully succeed w/o a good OL. Punching ourselves in the face.

Dylan needs to walk into Rhule’s office and tell him… “It’s ok, you can fire Donnie. I’m not going anywhere unless you decide to keep him.”

Never gonna happen. But that’s probably the only way Donnie gets fired. Or I suppose there the worst case scenario, Dylan enters the transfer portal after this season. No reason to keep Uncle Donnie if Dylan bolts.

I'm honestly pretty surprised by the OL. I didn't expect them to be great but the pass protection is a very real problem and given that they spent a bunch of stinking money in the portal it's not great.

But also most OL who portal are looking to get paid to be quick fixes so they're probably pretty meh to begin with, Isaiah World being an exception

Dana has to quit loving empty sets though. The line can't fucking block well enough, but the introduction of the tunnel screen game seems to have helped

Also, Dylan needs to get the ball out on time with those empty sets. Those sets are usually designed to quick timing routes. I’m guessing his 1st option isn’t getting open enough? But I also think he’s starting to watch for the pass rush and not keeping his eyes downfield. Which even the best QBs do when they’re getting plastered every other play.

The OL did not pass block that badly yesterday. A lot of the issues with pass pro came for EJ and Lindemeyer, and from Raiola not getting ball out fast enough.

Maybe I'm remembering the Michigan game where they seemed to just give up auto sacks when they went empty

I couldn't have said it better.

At what point though, does the Raiola clan convene and ask - wtf dude?!

Dylan is gonna get hurt at this rate. He can't keep taking sacks.
