Wife asked if I was becoming an alcoholic, and I just responded, “no, I’m a Husker fan.” And looked at her with a very matter-of-fact expression… she doesn’t understand, but I really don’t care.
It does feel good to care about the games again, and I saw enough to keep me watching, which is more than I can say for the last 4 seasons.

If your wife is not from Nebraska, she will probably never get it about our Huskers. I have lived out of state for 22 yrs now, and in a state that has no D1 program/college. These people don't get it. My wife (she is not from Nebraska) did go to a game with me in Lincoln 4 years ago, and she loved it, but she still does not get it at all about how Nebraska people are with Husker football.

I do everything I can to make sure I am able to watch the games alone, with as few distractions around. And that is not always easy when one does not live in Nebraska, as people think you are nuts for expecting 2.5 hrs of hassle free, kid free, distraction free time to just watch the GD game. I am constantly in the doghouse because I simply want to watch the game - live if possible - without simple distractions. It just isn't very feasible to keep a non-Nebraska woman happy about just wanting to watch 12 GD Husker football games a year.

Cannot dream up a worse start than we’ve had so far. And cannot believe Sims is so inept when he has so many positives. Size, arm strength, black…he has it all. Yet he’s incapable of catching a snap. Incapable of throwing the ball confidently or to the correct spot consistently.

And Colorado is a top 20 team…

I have no idea. We are at the Pop one (I think that’s what it’s called) and it’s alright so far. I think we stayed at Dolphin when we were here a few years ago which seemed better

Depends on hoe much money you want to give a mouse. To me they are all the same and you’ll hate life at the end of each day. But Atleast the kids are happy.
