I would think we don't want to use 3 schollies on kickers. It makes sense to only have two
It does. I guess it's possible Buschini and Bleekrode both punt in practice and Foley doesn't see much of a difference

I can't find it either
if you go to the 2023 Transfer portal list and select P, it is the 'oldest' but undated entry in the dbase, it looks the same but without the transfer logo

Now that this has come up - it looks like a photoshop of what I found - it raises a legitimate question about why we'd use 3 scholarships

There's a stud talent freshman that required a scholarship to land, & it's a one year deal before Buschini is gone.

Looks like Georgia was also using 3-4 schollies for specialists in 2022:

a lot of the 247 distributions are junk, but this one looks like someone definitely kept it up to date. They have two kickers and a punter for 23 as well.

why would post lots of footage right now showing he can make every throw? He looks great, btw
Maybe he wants to follow our rich heritage at QB.

Here were some of my predictions back in Feb.

Torres getting passed up by Haarberg which flipped those two.

Bonner's position switch kept him around.

Didn't see Wynn's or any DL coming.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ajay enter. Off the top of my head I can't think of others I'd add, but wouldn't be surprised if one or two who sat out of spring ball leave. Someone like Casey Thompson or Nick Henrich.

Here's what I'd say.
QB - Heinrich Haarberg and/or Chubba Purdy and/or Logan Smothers
RB - Emmett Johnson
WR - Janiran Bonner and/or Victor Jones Jr. and/or Shawn Hardy II and/or Tommi Hill
TE - James Carnie and/or Chris Hickman
OL - TBD
LB - Seth Malcom and/or Randolph Kpai and/or Mikai Gbayor and/or Garrett Snodgrass
Edge - NA
Nick - NA
CB - Tyreke Johnson and/or Omar Brown and/or Braxton Clark
S - Koby Bretz and/or Noa Pola-Gates and/or Jalil Martin

Man, heads would fucking melt if a guy like Henrich (or Reimer) portalled out.

there appears to be move toward playing younger guys who fit the new schemes over guys who only have a year left and don’t have the quickness or the prototypical size on both sides of the ball. Don’t get me wrong - I am not predicting their departure. Just saying I wouldn’t find either surprising.

They’re trying to make room fo get young players that have the attributes they want on the field.

Heinrich looked slow and unathletic after basically his first fully healthy offseason and now he is coming back after a knee injury. I just can’t see him taking a scholarship.

I would be surprised and disappointed if Reimer left. He seems like a player that would thrive in the new defensive scheme.
