Breaking Husker fans are incredible babies

Crying all over social media about the short week next week and night game wah wah wah. Pathetic
I guess I’m in your baby category then. This is the 2nd case this season of a night game on the east coast followed by a short week.

I get it happening once, but twice in a season. Curious if any other BIG schools have two instances let alone one this season.

But I haven’t been crying about it all over social media

They are basically losing a night's sleep.

As someone who regularly loses a night of sleep for work once a week, it throws you off the next couple of days. That means the team is not going to be at 100% mentally or physically during your biggest prep days for the next game. It's not a death sentence for the next game, but it is certainly not ideal.

The Incredible baby was the most powerful one, so checkmate, Anthony!

It’s easier when you’re 20, but it still sucks.

Add into the mix the physical recovery that’s lost and it’s a thing.

I don’t know if there is the disparity I’ve heard others voice about these types of situations as well as how many times a year we seem to be playing another B1G foe coming off a BYE week, but it’s brought up every year.

I guess everyone needs to be as mentally tough as OP.

Sort of agree with Big Tone, and I’ve recently bitched about it. It’s definitely a problem, but we just sound like pussies for mentioning it. No one cares. And if you want to make it to the league you’re going to be asked to play Sunday afternoon and turn around for a Thursday night game once a year, so that’s 24-36 hours less than what we’re being given.

On the flip side, our AD should be whipping other AD’s and B10 brass to address it to the tv networks. Either amend the current contract or include some grace for situations like this in the next contract. At the end of the day the networks don’t care about how much rest we get. They want the most eyeballs.

Yeah, it sucks, but it doesn't stop until your schlong is big enough to slap down on the desk at the B1G office and tell them it's not going to happen.

The team just has to embrace the suck & earn the right to change it.

Those poor 18 year olds will never recover

Those poor 18 year olds will never recover

They’ll recover just fine.

Question is what is lost in translation while they’re recovering, and it’s not nothing. Does it effect the outcome of games? When you’re still trying to put things together, you bet it does. For elite teams with insane talent advantages, not so much.

I know this is your shtick, so carry on.

At least it’s a home game after the short week so shouldn’t be a huge deal. Just win baby

This is the first time I've ever agreed with you on this site. If Nebraska played a football game at home this week, getting over at 6 pm, everyone of those players would be awake getting their dick wet or drunk at 3 am.

I guarantee Cockeye will be doing the same thing. Such a pointless complaint.

Also, Nebraska begs the God Damn conference to play on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Stop being bitches.
