It's impossible to answer bc we don't know other teams' changes. It'd probably be 11-1 vs LAST YEAR'S teams.

I'll probably pick us to go 9-3 I would guess. I don't think there are 3 teams on this schedule that have a better 2-deep than that though.

Our P and K may still be unreliable for us, that's probably the biggest issue I see. Top 5 programs have lockdown P/K.

With OL uncertainty - 8

Lock down OL - 10 to Playoffs.
The one thing about CFP teams though is that they have an A+ at bother kicker positions.

Buschini might cost us a game. Alvano might cost us a game.

Other than that, it's a good 2 deep. The OL would probably be the weakest among 12 CFP teams but they could get the job done w a better QB and better plays being called.

Fair. 8 feels comfortable. Of course I thought 6 was a lock this year.

Don’t need a punter when you score tuddys every possession

Are there really no LTs in play right now in the portal? That is a glaring deficiency and we’ve got a lot invested at the QB position now lol

I know that it's easy for everyone to just pick on our OL because they had been so historically bad, but they showed a lot of improvement down the stretch and were an average OL last year. And keep in mind, that was with defenses knowing that we had virtually no passing threat and were loading the box. With an actual QB defenses have to fear and account for, I'd imagine that their lives will continue to get easier too.

I have to type this in because its bothering me although its not really the point of your post:

Evans-Jenkins will start at one of those Guard spots. The dude is obviously the future center, but he's earned a returning nod over Luto. If Princely's brother gets here, he will start. Nebraska doesn't need that Maryland LB. Hell, Bullock is a better player right now. I hope he returns all though, he will likely need an NIL deal to be a walk on again.

Is Bullock coming back?
