I’ve driven an 05 Corolla for 9 years. No issues, cheap as hell to drive. Big hunter, 2 kids and a wife, and have wanted a truck forever. Only debt is my house. Student loans gone. Well on track for retirement and I’m not quite 33. I’ve never dropped that much cash on anything and it gives me chest pain to think about. Would plan to keep it 10+ years. I’m sure there is a wide range of opinions here. It won’t handicap me but fucking A.

I don’t think any vehicle prices have come back to earth yet.

Spending money like that on a depreciating asset is beyond stupid. Would be better to find something 1/3 if that price and invest the other 2/3rds. But that’s just my conservative accounting position.

Get a nice used truck. New ones are an impossible waste of money

AT4s are awesome yes. Have a buddy whose gmc dropped a transmission under 100k miles though and his dad’s gmc through a rod at less than 100k miles.
