I'm in the minority. I like it, but understand it isn't splashy and folks are gonna judge from Colorado stop.

As far as managing a game, I thought Snit was terrible. He was a great clubhouse guy. But as far as managing a game he was bad.
I’m not sure I like his right hand man getting the keys to the car when we still have a lot of great talent on the team.
For the record, another guy who sucks at his job is Dave Roberts.

I like to bash Roberts as much as anyone, but he was nearly flawless down the stretch and in the playoffs this year. If he made any of about five critical decisions differently in game 7 then the Blue Jays would have the title.

Not overly impressed either. Just seems like an inbred hire. Hopefully works out better than Scrote at Nebraska.

To be honest, I didn’t watch much of the playoffs this year. But in years past they’ve won in spite of him rather than because of him. He may be the reason the Braves won the 2021 World Series.

I loved Snit, and for sure winced at some game management. But, he rarely got credit when it worked either. At times the clubhouse aspect seemed most important for the season, but post season play needed another voice there. I was at WS game when he pulled Anderson after 5 no hit innings, and got the win. When I went back and rewatched TV version I was amused at how much flack he got at the time, and same on Twitter from fanbase.
I do wonder how long leash is for Weiss, and we need to get Wash back if possible. Sounds like a maybe contingent on health.

I don’t have a major objection to Walt, on his own. I just feel like the players need new voices in the clubhouse. I certainly don’t judge Walt, nor most any manager that gets fired in Colorado. I’m just not excited at all by this decision, it’s a safe one I guess.

He’s been a “hitting consultant” for a number of years. Michael Harris has been his special project.
Him being more involved should be nothing but good news.

Cliffs:
The Braves are printing money. In stadium revenues are up. The Battery is RAKING. Payroll is not outrageous.
There were indicators from his expertise that lead him to believe that Liberty Media may be positioning themselves to sell The Braves.
