Holgorsen has all the leverage in the world to negotiate a max contract, so normally I’d expect it to be sometime after the season.

But his Houston contract runs through 2027, so even a 3 year deal at NU presumably doesn't make a difference to him what he'll pocket, since our payment just reduces what Houston pays. For career reasons I’m sure he doesn't want to take a lowball salary, so it'll be interesting to see how they work that out.

My guess: a salary slightly above Satt's, announced somewhere between the regular season & bowl game.
